For Fourth Consecutive Year, ClickAway Earns Spot on
Inc. Magazine’s Annual Ranking of
Fastest-Growing Private Companies
(Campbell, CA – October 3, 2011) For the fourth consecutive year, ClickAway Corporation has been named by Inc. Magazine to the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the United States. The Inc. 5000 includes the well-known Inc. 500, but also offers a more comprehensive look at the larger entrepreneurial engine driving the U.S. economy. ClickAway, providing computer, networking, IT services along with cell phones and mobile devices for home and business customers in the Bay Area area, came in at #2474 nationally, up 807 places from their 2010 ranking.
“When customers have computer and cell phone problems, they need fast, cost-effective solutions, and prefer to work with knowledgeable, friendly professionals. The 2011 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010, and for that period ClickAway’s revenues grew 195%. To be considered for the Inc. 5000, companies must be able to show at least four full calendar years of sales, with revenue of $200,000 or more in 2007 and at least $2 million in 2010. Additionally, they have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, independent companies.
“We started ClickAway with two Associates and one store in 2001, and a goal of building the business in the area. We now have over 35 computer professionals in six ClickAway locations and over 45 wireless mobile device specialists in 15 EVO2 Verizon Wireless Premium Reseller stores throughout the Bay Area, plus corporate personnel to support both sides of our business,” Sutherland said. “We built our company on a model of outstanding customer service combined with excellent opportunities for our Associates. Being included in the Inc. 5000 list is certainly evidence that our model is working as planned.”
